Exetel VOIP Guide

Note: free calls and rates can change!
Quick list of features for Exetel internet VOIP phone service, (VOIP = Voice over Internet Protocol ).
Basically "VOIP" is a way to replace your expensive home phone rates. If Naked ADSL2 is available in your area you can totally replace your phone rental with VOIP (but you need the phone line wiring still!).
VOIP is a phone sytem which goes through broadband internet (mostly digital) instead of the old way (100% copper wires).

Your Number

You get a regular phone number in your choice of capital city. For example, you can get a Perth number even if you live in Sydney. You can change it at any time for free.

Your number is not listed in the phone book.
